Session #1 - "Conditional Quizzing - How Do I Grow Students of All Levels?"
Presenter - Kathryn Huffman Location - Room 08
Description - The focus of my technology training is conditional (or adaptable) quizzing with Google Forms. Conditional quizzing lets you be able to adapt students' individual learning needs not only through instruction, but also through an assessment. Why should I care? At the end of the year we want to see GROWTH right! I used one Google Form assessment for each unit as a part of my EOG review. In my session you will learn how to make an assessment like the GRE. For example, if a student gets a problem correct the assessment sends them to a slightly more difficult problem. If the student misses a problem they are sent to another problem that helps them improve on the fundamental skill that came before. This test taking strategy is applicable to ALL subjects!
****I know it is the Monday before Thanksgiving, but this session will be extremely helpful when incorporating differentiation in your classroom! Can't wait to see you on Monday, November 23!!
